Swim at Watersedge
Join our wild swimmers at the water’s edge
We’re an inclusive community that’s open all year round—with sessions for beginners, swimblers and triathletes. Join us to connect with other swimmers in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
Three things you’ll need to swim with us
1. To be over 18
Or in summer, you can request under-18 bookings by emailing activities@watersedge.club
2. A tow float
If you don’t have one yet, you can hire from us when you book your session
3. A medical ID wristband
With the app that tracks your entry/exit and holds your medical info
Book a swim
If you don’t have a wristband, you can order a Watersedge wristband, use a free guest band on your first swim (or if yours hasn’t arrived yet), or hire one from us for an occasional swim. Or if you have a sports guardian band from other participating venues, you can use that one with us too.
Swim coaching
Our professional swim coaches Gem and Dan can help you build confidence in the water or refine your technique. Whether you’re new to open-water swimming or training for an event, we tailor our support to every level.
Cold-water courses
Our swim coach Gem also runs courses for beginners and anyone wants to know more about the mental aspects of open-water swimming. Groups of up to 15 can join Gem for a swim, sauna, coffee and cake—plus a voucher for a swim another time. Wetsuits are optional and can be hired lakeside, depending on availability.
Mental health dips
Cold water can positively impact mental wellbeing, so we offer free mental health dips every month for anyone struggling with their mental health. They’re quieter sessions on separate days to our main swims—great for experiencing the benefits of cold-water swimming in a calm, supportive setting.
Excellent water quality
We test quarterly and have always rated ‘excellent’
RLSS-trained lifeguards
Our lifeguards undergo regular scenario practices
